Icomera is delighted to announce the addition of two experienced professionals to its EMEA team: Stefano Coiro and Tim Wouda. Both bring extensive industry knowledge and expertise to their roles, reinforcing Icomera’s commitment to delivering world-class connectivity solutions.
Stefano Coiro, Director, Italy (Pictured Left)
Stefano joined Icomera in January 2025 as Director for Italy and Key Account Manager for FS Group, working from our Rome office. With over 30 years of international experience, Stefano has a proven track record in business creation, sales development, marketing, strategic planning, and digital transformation across the telecom, utilities, and transport industries.
His career spans multiple management roles at leading multinational enterprises, including Enel X, Ericsson, Marconi, and the Italian Research Council (CNR). Over the years, Stefano has developed international sales strategies in Telecom and Energy across Europe, North Africa, and South America, tailoring innovative ICT solutions for diverse clients.
Before joining Icomera, Stefano played a key role in the Enel Group, where he designed and launched broadband connectivity services for Enel Energia residential customers in Italy as well as developing sales for Smart City global Business Unit at Enel X . More recently, he worked as a Senior Business Advisor for the Transportation industry in Italy, collaborating with key stakeholders on digital and sustainable transformation initiatives. Alongside his advisory work, Stefano has been an active business angel investor in startups across Europe and the USA and serves as a Board Member for Sport Senza Frontiere, a non-profit organisation promoting sports inclusion.
Tim Wouda, Director Benelux (Pictured Right)
Joining Icomera in January 2025 as Director for the Benelux region, Tim Wouda brings extensive industry experience in establishing valued services that benefit from the Internet of Things and automation. He is based in Utrecht to establish and grow the business and team in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
His career spans product management, business development, and team leadership at leading enterprises, including HERE Technologies, Ericsson, KPN and Swisscom. Before joining Icomera, Tim led the product, P&L, and team for real-time and predictive connected vehicle services at HERE Technologies.
At Ericsson, Tim also played a crucial role in developing and executing business and technology strategies to accelerate 5G adoption for the Internet of Things (IoT) for transport. His leadership helped the automotive and transport industries evolve toward connected, automated, shared, and electrified mobility.
Tim excels in transitioning new technologies into scalable businesses. He holds an Executive MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, a MSc in Innovation Sciences from Eindhoven University of Technology and a BSc in Electrical Engineering / Digital Design.
Furthermore, Tim has been an active contributor in shaping the digital transport services of tomorrow through industry associations like 5GAA, AECC, UITP, MaaS Alliance, GSMA and IoT World Alliance.
