December 17th 2014 – Following a successful week in Paris earlier this month as part of the business delegation in conjunction with the Swedish State Visit to France, Icomera has announced plans to launch a new subsidiary, Icomera France.
The three day event, running from December 2-4, was an opportunity for representatives from Sweden and France to exchange ideas as well as culture. The agenda focused on the “sustainable society of tomorrow”, in which public transportation systems are critical to improving the economic and social quality of life of the population. This strongly resonates with Icomera’s own vision of a future society that is safer, more efficient and more environmentally friendly.
Icomera has been delivering Internet connectivity for public transport vehicles since 2001. Consequently, Icomera was well-placed to participate in many of the discussions and demonstrate the huge market potential in France for Internet connectivity solutions.
Icomera’s Director of Business Development, Mr. Pierre Codis, has been appointed General Manager of Icomera France and is currently looking to recruit the best local talents, adding to the existing team of industry experts. Icomera will utilise its enhanced local presence to fully support the new wave of technological innovation that the business region is set to embrace.
