September 8th 2015 – Icomera, one of Sweden’s fastest growing technology companies, is embarking on a packed program of activities aimed at advancing French-Swedish business relations.
Already an influential presence in both countries, Icomera has been invited to take a leading role in discussions between the key players. President and CEO Karl-Johan Holm, along with Director of Icomera France, Pierre Codis, will present Icomera’s vision of “The Connected Journey” – a revolution in transport powered by a new generation of digital infrastructure.
Icomera will demonstrate how Internet connectivity solutions deliver a better public transport experience for passengers and how this is critical to improving the economic and social quality of life of the population.
Some key dates for Icomera’s autumn program:
- 14th September – French-Swedish Business Forum (Stockholm) – Icomera will meet with other leading Swedish and French companies to identify opportunities for collaboration and lay the foundations for a new innovative French-Swedish business environment. The event will take place in the presence of their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, as well as the Ambassador of Sweden to France and the Ambassador of France to Sweden.
- 18th September – Acting together for Europe, Growth and Innovation (Stockholm) – Focusing on growth, innovation and employment, Icomera will join French Prime Minister Manuel Valls at this seminar organised by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, IVA, and the French Embassy in Stockholm. Leif Johansson, chairman of IVA, Ericsson, AstraZeneca and former CEO of Volvo Group will host.
- 30th November – Swedish Business Delegation to France (Paris) – A follow-up to the Swedish State visit to France in December 2014 and held in conjunction with the centenary anniversary of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in France. The delegation program will see Icomera meet with key decision makers at French ministries, authorities and businesses to promote innovation, competitiveness and sustainability in the presence of Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden. The business delegation is run in parallel with the UN’s climate conference.
