In September around 50 ‘hackers’ will take a 2000km train journey lasting 3 days through the beautiful Swedish landscape together and work on projects with the theme of making public transport better for everyone. Icomera are sponsoring the onboard Wi-Fi and five employees will also be participating in this exciting event.
The purpose of Trainhack is to create a unique, challenging, and fun hack event for developers, where the journey focuses on creating digital services that make travelling with public transport easier and a more positive experience. The project themes for this event are: Virtual Reality, Internet of Things, Planning Support, Sleep Tight, Entertainment, Travel Options, Disruption Management and more!
The journey starts in Gothenburg at 18:00 on Thursday 7th September and the trip finishes in Uppsala on Saturday 9th September where the project winners will be announced.
