Icomera will be showcasing the next generation of its industry-leading mobile Internet solutions for Passenger Wi-Fi, entertainment and other mission critical onboard applications at this year’s Euro Bus show.
The show, which runs from Tuesday 1st – Thursday 3rd November at the NEC, Birmingham, UK, is expected to attract an audience of over 9,500 industry professionals.
Icomera connects tens of thousands of vehicles and millions of passengers to the Internet every week. Its in-vehicle cellular routers utilise patented software for combining multiple networks to provide the fastest, most reliable connection available for road passengers and systems.
One highlight of Icomera’s participation at Euro Bus will be the unveiling of its new range of hardware, designed to meet the business requirements of coach and bus operators on any scale.
Dave Palmer, Managing Director of Icomera UK said: “The demand for passenger Wi-Fi is clearer than ever. Internet is expected everywhere and people are increasingly becoming more and more used to being connected wherever they are.
“Icomera recognises that while all public transport operators are looking to meet this demand, no two operators will have the same technology requirements. The ability to offer a range of hardware options allows us to tailor the foundations of the solution to best fit their immediate and longer-term needs. This ultimately reduces the total cost of ownership of the solution.”
Icomera representatives will be available to talk to delegates at Stand T122.
