February 16, 2021 (Bethesda, MD) – Icomera US Inc., the world’s leading provider of wireless connectivity solutions for public transport, is pleased to announce Ismail Dahel has joined as Engineering Solutions Manager for North America.
Ismail will serve in a cross-functional role, working closely with business development, product management, innovation, sales, and marketing to deliver comprehensive connected vehicle solutions. He will discover customer needs and requirements, offer recommendations, develop deployment strategies, and recognize current and future industry trends to deliver an end-to-end solution design.

With over twelve years’ experience in the transportation industry, Ismail brings extensive knowledge of intelligent transportation systems (ITS), computer-aided dispatch / automatic vehicle location (CAD/AVL) and automatic fare collection (AFC) systems.
For the past two years, Ismail served as INIT’s engineering sales manager responsible for business technology development of CAD/AVL and AFC for the North American region with a niche focus on managing migration and upgrades for existing customers.
Prior to 2019, Ismail served as INIT’s business development manager for the Middle East and North Africa regions. During that time, he led sales strategic planning and secured multi-million-dollar projects.
Before joining INIT, Ismail served as Clever Devices’ senior sales engineer where he drove lead qualification, executed bid proposals, with rolling out an internal initiative for expediting quote process for existing clients.
Prior to joining the public transportation industry, Ismail worked as a lead software engineer for public telecommunication networks and received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montreal.
