The award winning Fastrack Bus Rapid Transit scheme in Kent Thameside is to benefit from the introduction of a new fleet of 21 environmentally friendly vehicles.
The new buses, which will operate on routes A and B, have been funded by Kent County Council and Arriva, representing an investment of over £3.5 million. Fastrack offers passengers a high quality travel experience by making use of dedicated busways and priority traffic signals to provide a speedy and efficient journey.
The new buses incorporate free on board passenger Wi-Fi, charging points for each seat, audio-visual next stop displays, eco-leather seating and bright interior lighting as well as a striking new livery and associated branding.
