In order to boost the connectivity of tourists arriving in the French capital, RATP and its advertising agency Média Transports are joining forces with Orange and Icomera’s long-term partner Icon to launch a free Wi-Fi service on board Roissybus for an experimental 6-month period.
The Roissybus Wi-Fi connection will enable French and foreign tourists to better prepare both their arrival in Paris (check itineraries, locate hotels, etc.) and their departure (check real-time flight times, terminals, possible disruptions, etc.). The service is completely free for users.
This experiment is part of RATP’s ongoing efforts to enhance the connectivity of passengers on its network. All stations on RATP’s underground network will be equipped with very high speed mobile equipment (3G or 4G) by the end of 2016.
