Arriva launched its new bus fleet in an unusual way this week, with the help of Titan the robot. The ‘MAX’ buses, with free onboard Wi-Fi and black leather interiors, will serve Durham, Stockton, Middlesbrough and Newcastle.
Nick Knox, area managing director for Arriva North East, said: “We know that our passengers want quick, no fuss, links into the city centre, and MAX does just that.” He went on to say that the free Wi-Fi had already received “great feedback”.
