December 18th – Transport for Edinburgh, Edinburgh’s integrated transport group, is one year old today. Launched on 18th December 2013, it brings together Lothian Buses, Edinburgh Trams and Edinburgh Bus Tours with the vision of providing a seamless and high quality transport choice for residents and visitors.
Lothian Buses is a proud long-term customer of Icomera, who have successfully provided a fleet-wide Wi-Fi network for their current list of vehicles, recently completing a 4G LTE upgrade for the service.
Sukh Randhawa, Project Manager at Icomera, said, “It has been a pleasure working with Lothian Buses over the years. Lothian are a highly valued customer of Icomera’s so to be the supplier of both their bus and tram Wi-Fi solution is a great honour. On behalf of Icomera, I would like to join Lothian Buses in celebrating this anniversary, and congratulate them on providing the city of Edinburgh with such a consistent and respected transport service.”
